Hands. What do we do with them and why?
Darian Leader is a British philosopher, historian, psychoanalyst and author, who has taught and worked at different universities and research centres. He is well known for being able to explain difficult psychological subjects to a wide ranging public. Leader published Why Do People Get Ill? Why Do Women Write More Letters Than They Post? and What Is Madness?. in his book The New Black he adresses such issues as mourning, melancholy and depression.
His lecture will deal with his most recent book Hands. What do we do with them – and why?, published in 2016.
