05.11.19—20:00    MIRY KEYS: Yury Shadrin MIRY Concertzaal concert

If Sir András Schiff is a fan, you must be talented. And Yury Shadrin’s star has been rising. Spontaneous, dramatic, charming and eminently fresh, perfect for the great works. Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasie is known as his most demanding piano piece. He had a fan, in Beethoven, represented here with Variations. Brahms too was influenced by the composer from Bonn. In his late, scintillating Fantasies, he had long since shed his hero’s gloom. As a Russian bonus, Shadrin also performs four preludes by Shostakovich.

  • Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) – Rondo Op. 51 nr. 1
